PHOENIX, AZ–The Talons put forth a valiant effort, but it came down to a quick pass with 0:00 on the clock to give the Arizona Rattlers a one point victory in front of their home crowd last Friday night.

Rattlers QB Nick Davila tossed the ball to WR Rod Windsor who juked past two Tulsa defenders and into the end zone to give the Rattlers a 77-76 victory over the 2-1 Talons.  Tulsa has been very successful against established AFL teams so far, and this was their first defeat after a bye the preceding week.

Tulsa QB Justin Allgood threw 29-40 for 350 yards and 10 touchdowns and receiver Carlese Franklin caught10 passes for 121 yards and two TDs.  Donovan Morgan garnered the Nifty Player of the Game award and caught a touchdown pass early in the game to give the Talons a 14-10 lead.  Spiderman finished the day with 9 cataches, 128 yards and a season high 5 touchdowns on the night. 

The Talons hope to regroup as they travel to the other side of the country to play the Jacksonville Sharks in the Jacksonville Veteran Memorial Arena at 6:05pm Tulsa time.  the game will be carried live on AM 740 and FM102.3 KRMG with Rick Couri handling the play-by-play call.  The game can also be accessed live on the internet by clicking the "Nifty" button at tulsatalons.com.
