Convention Center March events

The Tulsa Convention Center has a variety of events scheduled in March and is host to several Tulsa 66ers home games.  The JAMfest Cheer and Dance Nationals in the TCC Arena is a free event and open to the public. More than 50 teams take the stage during this unique and high-energy competition. The event begins at 10 am Saturday, March 5 and 9 am on Sunday, March 6.

Put on your party shoes for Wine, Women and Shoes benefiting YWCA Tulsa. A private VIP winemakers’ reception will be held March 4 at 6 pm in the Tulsa Ballroom. The signature event at 11:30 on March 5 features a luncheon, fashion show and shopping with top shoe and accessory retailers. The 16th Annual Memory Gala in the Tulsa Ballroom benefits the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma and Arkansas Chapter. Silent and live auctions will raise money to battle Alzheimer’s disease, the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. The National Wild Turkey Federation’s Tulsa Chapter will have their Annual NWTF Banquet on March 12 in the Conference Hall. The event benefits the National Wild Turkey Federation and their dedication to the conservation of the wild turkey. The organization also provides scholarships and supports archery in schools and several Oklahoma schools’ shooting clubs. To purchase tickets call (918) 636-9879.

The Metcalf Gun and Knife Show returns to the Exhibit Halls with high-quality gun and knife vendors. The event is $12 at the door and opens at 9 am Saturday, March 12 and 10 am Sunday, March 13. Attendees parking in the Civic Center Parkade, located on 3rd Street, will receive one admission coupon per car for one discounted admission to show.

The Mental Health Association in Tulsa hosts Carnivale in the Tulsa Ballroom on March 26. This black-tie event provides funding for the Association’s housing facilities and other services to the community. The expected crowd of more than 700 will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6:30. Then dinner prepared by Chef Devin Levine and world-class entertainment including DJ Yuri. The NBA Development League, the Tulsa 66ers, direct affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, continues the season with five home games in March. They will face off with Sioux Falls on March 11 and 12, Austin on March 22, Texas on March 25 and Rio Grande Valley on March 26.
