Coffeehouse features Jon Dee Grahm

The All Soul Acoustic Coffeehouse will feature Jon Dee Graham in concert this Friday January 11th with Travis Fite and Arthur Thompson opening at 7:30 pm.

Songwriter and showman, Jon Dee Graham, was named Austin Musician of the Year during the South by Southwest (SXSW) music conference in 2006 and has been inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame three times.

Graham was a member of The True Believers, which included Alejandro Escovedo and his brother Javier Escovedo. Graham has played with James McMurtry, Eliza Gilkyson, Kelly Willis, John Hiatt, Michelle Shocked and Patty Griffin, among others.

His music has been featured in soundtracks such as Ladder 49 and Veronica Mars.

A documentary about Graham’s life and music was released in 2008 (Jon Dee Graham; Swept Away) His live shows are the stuff of legend–don’t miss this chance to see this nationally recognized Austin star in Tulsa.

The Coffeehouse brings nationally known performers to Tulsa once a month from September though May to showcase the best in contemporary acoustic Americana, folk-pop, roots, alt-country, blues music, and then some. Most of the concerts also feature fine local opening acts and take place in the relaxed, smoke-free, coffeehouse-style environment of Emerson Hall at All Souls Unitarian Church (2952 S.
