The Event Center at River Spirit has added country music superstar Clay Walker to their summer concert line-up. Walker will perform on Friday, August 16 at 7:00 pm.

“We are excited to announce the addition of Clay Walker,” said General Manager, Jerry Floyd. “His unique style and sound resonates with fans of all ages!”

Clay Walker made his country music debut in 1993 with his smash hit “What’s It To You.” Since then, he has placed thirty-one titles on Billboard’s singles chart and had six No. 1 hit singles including “Dreaming with My Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” and “Rumor Has It.”

Walker recently released his first book entitled Jesus Was A Country Boy in which he shares his life’s struggles—including being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 26—and how his faith got him through everything. Walker established Band Against MS (BAMS) in 2003 with the goal of helping others living with MS.

Walker never gives less than one hundred percent, and his dedicated work ethic has made him one of the most successful country acts of the past decade.

Tickets for Clay Walker will start at $40 and go on sale Monday, July 15. Fans can purchase tickets at www.riverspirittulsa.com and the River Spirit Casino Box Office.
