Analysis:  The Hill is reporting that the FBI Director, James Comey, is the pivotal figure in the 2016 presidential race that no one is talking about. Comey, a Republican appointed by President Obama who enjoys a stellar reputation on both sides of the aisle, is investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server as Secretary of State.

HillaryClintonTextualRelationsThe Hill writes that Clinton is the overwhelming favorite to win the Democratic presidential nomination next year and is expected to be a tough candidate for any Republican to face in 2016. Yet the controversy surrounding her private email account remains an Achilles’ heel.

Tulsa Today suggests that Clinton, like Nelson Mandela, could serve decades in prison before election as President.

Prosecutors ban Soros Foundation

GeorgeSoros1Analysis:  According to Russia Today, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has named George Soros’s Open Society Institute and another affiliated organization as undesirable groups, banning Russian citizens and organizations from participation in any of their projects.

Regular readers of Tulsa Today know George Soros is a primary funding source for many Leftwing Fruit Loop Groups such as Media Matters, the Center for America Progress and, of course, President Barack Obama.

In a statement released on Monday, prosecutors said the activities of Soros’s Open Society Institute and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation were a threat to the foundations of Russia’s Constitutional order and national security. They added that the Justice Ministry would be duly informed about these conclusions and would add the two groups to Russia’s list of undesirable foreign organizations.

When a team plays as many games as the Tulsa Oilers do in a season, the saying goes that it’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon.  What that means is that if a team falls into a slump, it’s a cause for concern, but it can be corrected if a team buckles down and improves.

Such has been the case for the Tulsa Oilers in November 2015.

Beware of empty climate promises

BarackObamaFrontmanThroughout President Barack Obama’s participation in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties, known as COP21, international partners should be aware that his commitments stand on hollow ground. The President not only lacks support from his own country, but he has no way to follow through on any of his promises.

In the President’s efforts to finalize domestic plans to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse gases, he has deliberately ignored concerns of environmentalists, states, job creators, U.S. courts and Congress.
