OK Online Consumer Privacy Bill

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Logan Phillips, R-Mounds, today announced he will pursue a data privacy bill in the upcoming legislative session.

House Bill 1130 would require any online business or webpage operator that collects consumers’ personal information to post in a conspicuous place prior to the collection what personal information will be collected and the purposes for which it will be used.

“Website operators are mining our personal information all of the time and then using that information to market new products to us or to track how we live our lives,” said Phillips, chair of the House Technology Committee. “Such information can even be used against us. Consumers deserve to know in advance what information is being collected on them, by whom, and how it will be used. My bill will ensure better transparency for the public.”

Mike Mazzei withdraws from race

A reversal from Raymond James, which holds his license as a financial planner, on allowing Mazzei to run forces Mazzei to withdraw.

In an release to supporters and state media today, former State Senator Mike Mazzei withdrew from the race for Oklahoma State Treasurer writing, “It is with much regret that I must withdraw from the race. I know there are so many big issues facing our state and country that need a fiscal conservative solution,” said Mazzei “That was why I was running, to push our state to new heights.”

Politico confirms Hunter Biden laptop

OP/ED: It is stunning when even Leftist Media add confirmation that Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s drug addled whoremonger and off-spring denying son did, in fact, author emails selling political influence in the most obvious public corruption in American history. Yes, this is the story The New York Post broke weeks before the 2020 election that Legacy Media, Big Tech, Deep State, and Operatives of the Democratic Party blocked and slandered.

Now, “nearly one year after the Hunter Biden laptop story sparked a political firestorm, Politico confirmed some of the material first reported by The New York PostFOX News notes. Further, Glenn Greenwald is breaking more detail in the following video.

Carmine’s Black-Asian Brawl

OP/ED: Few news stories are packed with as much going on as the latest incident in Carmine’s. It’s kind of like a medley of greatest hits of the issues du jour: Like a Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” or Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” or deciphering Mariah Carey’s heritage. Or for the foodies out there, a 150 item mega buffet with everything from hibachi grill to spaghetti to tacos. In the news world, it checks every box. Race war? Check. Vaccine mandates? Check. Texas vs. New York? Check. BLM and Stop Asian hate? Check. Restaurants subject to government mandates? Check

As usual, right on cue, every interest group is now trying to make their spin out of it, from the parties affected to everyone in the periphery. The black customers that are now defendants are crying foul because according to them it was racially motivated. The restaurant had to backtrack their vaccine regulation story, saying they did let the initial 3 women in, but not their 2 friends later on because they lacked vaccination proof.  Now, Black Lives Matter has boldly come out with a statement against mandatory vaccines – are they backing Nicki Minaj? Unique times we live in. Here are some of my observations from the Carmine’s incident, starting with taking my own race to task.

Not about Freedom or Personal Choice

Today we have two contrasting quotations from world leaders. One said: “Mandatory vaccinations will never be allowed because [this] is a free country and its people are sovereign.” The other said: “This is not about freedom or personal choice.”

The first was by Vladimir Putin. Russia, a free country! The second was by Joe Biden. The U.S. is no longer a free country, and the people are not sovereign. Nor are the once-sovereign states. If state governors won’t cooperate with him, “I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way.” It is not clear exactly how he would accomplish that. Invade the state and occupy its capitol and its courts? Arrest the governor and perhaps the legislature and throw them into prison without bail like some January 6 demonstrators? Already, many states are suing — perhaps we will learn whether the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has any meaning.
