Spirit Award Kick-off Tonight

Kell Kelly, President and CEO of SpiritBank, and Dr. Ric Baser, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer of Tulsa Community College, will kick-off the SpiritBank/Tulsa Community College Entrepreneurial
Spirit Award on Tuesday, April 6th at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The competition, now in its fourth year, will be sponsored by SpiritBank and Tulsa Community College.

The kick-off will provide entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs with opportunities to discover the success factors for winning the Spirit Award from past winners, meet and network with Tulsa entrepreneurs and small business leaders and learn details to compete for cash, prizes and services.

To enter the competition, entrepreneurs can submit their executive summaries to the Spirit Award website from April 6 – May 13. The first place winner will receive $30,000, second place, $5,000 and third place, $2,500 all provided by SpiritBank.

The competition is open to anyone in the City of Tulsa with an existing business from either a start-up business, a business that has been in operation for up to five years, or simply an idea for a new business. Entrants need not be based in Tulsa, but they must agree to establish or expand in Tulsa if they win.

Anyone interested in entering the competition may obtain instructions and submit their executive summaries from April 6 – May 13 to www.TulsaSpiritAward.com.
