Ed Keller reappointed

Governor Mary Fallin today announced she has reappointed Ed Keller to the OSU–Tulsa Board of Trustees. Keller resides in Tulsa and is the chairman at Summit Bank.

Keller has served as chief executive officer (CEO) of J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank IV Oklahoma. He has also served as Chairman and CEO of Bank One Oklahoma.

“Our colleges and universities are vital to our long-term success as a state,” Fallin said. “Ed Keller has proven himself an effective leader for the OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees.  I know he will be dedicated to ensuring our students are provided everything they need to succeed while also ensuring OSU-Tulsa continues to produce the skilled graduates we need to advance our state.”

Keller serves on the board of directors at Mutual of Omaha Bank and on the board of governors for the Oklahoma State University Foundation.  He is also the director of the University Center Trust Authority.  Keller previously has served on numerous boards including St. Francis Health System, Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce and the Tulsa/Rogers County Port Authority.

“I am honored Governor Fallin has reappointed me to the OSU-Tulsa board,” Keller said. “I share the governor’s commitment to improving education and further developing a highly skilled workforce.”  

Keller graduated from OSU in 1963. He and his wife, Marilyn, have four grown children and seven grandchildren.

Keller’s appointment requires Senate confirmation.  If confirmed he will serve a seven-year term expiring June 30, 2018.
