Threesome continues: Obama prepares war

Obamas with Valerie Jarrett

Editorial:  As often happens recently, the best American news is published in England. In this case, The Daily Mail, in an exclusive, reports that former-President Barack Obama’s close confidante Valerie Jarrett has moved into his new DC home, a “nerve center to mastermind the insurgency against” President Donald J. Obama’s goal  is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment, a family friend tells DailyMail.com. Jarrett has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million mansion to work closely with the former president and Michelle Obama.  Continue reading →

President Trump’s address to Congress

President Trump speaks before Congress February, 2017

Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, the First Lady of the United States, and Citizens of America:

In 2016 a bipartisan Congress passed the 21st Century Cures Act, ostensibly designed to speed up research and drug approvals. They should have legislated a cure for a highly contagious disease that infects politicians in staggering numbers: chronic, relapsing, terminal hypocritical churlishness (the “Disease”).    Continue reading →

Happy Presidents Day!

From George Washington to Donald Trump, 45 men have served as President of the United States and on this fabulous Presidents Day, Americans for Limited Government (ALG) identified a quotation for each.  Some of the quotes are better known than others, some a bit more or less eloquent; all of them spoken by the Chief Executive and Commander-in-Chief of this great nation.

We hope you will enjoy this unique reflection of American history and welcome your comments about what we got right and, especially, what we got wrong.  Continue reading →
