The Jason Christie era for the Tulsa Oilers Hockey club is officially over.
The winningest coach in the history of the ECHL tendered his resignation with the team on Monday morning. Behind the bench in Tulsa for two seasons, Christie compiled a 64-67-9-4 record as Tulsa’s Head Coach. Gov. Fallin signed legislation Monday to help further reduce the number of uninsured drivers in Oklahoma. Sen. Ron Sharp is the principal Senate author of Senate Bill 115 to transfer oversight of the Compulsory Insurance Online Verification System (OCIVS) for motor vehicle liability policies from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to the Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID).
The Tulsa Roughnecks FC were handed a setback on Monday when the USL forfeited the team’s season opening 4-1 victory over the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC based on an ineligible player on the team’s roster.
