There are times when the less said … the better. There are times when prayers need not be spoken. There are times to remember. April 19th in Oklahoma is and will forever be one of those days.
In 1995 the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City shocked America and the world. As the Oklahoma City National Memorial web site acknowledges, “We remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever.”
Tulsa Today encourages readers to take a moment, from your busy day to remember that day. Remember the villains and the victims. Remember the heroes – all average people who ran toward the violent explosion to aid and comfort those who survived.
We are a greater country and a greater people than any act against us – even from our own elected or enraged.
