The Muscular Dystrophy Association has named Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry to its Board of Directors.
“The citizens of Oklahoma obviously knew they had a man of character and wisdom when they elected Brad Henry their governor,” MDA President & CEO Gerald C. Weinberg said. “We’re indeed fortunate to have him now as a member of our executive decision making body.”
MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
