Top Agility Dogs Return to Tulsa

Good dogs will prove it in Tulsa as they vie this weekend for champion status at the American Kennel Club (AKC) National Agility trials. Spectators are encouraged and admission is free.

Competition begins Friday, March 26 and runs through Sunday at the Ford
Tough Livbestock Comples at Expo Square.  Organizers say nearly 1,000 of
the top agility dogs in the nation will travel to Tulsa for this event.

Individual states will be competing for bragging rights in the AKC State Team Tournament on Friday. The National Agility Championship will be contested over five rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

The top dog in each of six different jump heights will win the title of 2010 National Agility Champion.

Over 80 different breeds will represented as they leap over jumps, whip through weave poles and climb seesaws and A-frames throughout the weekend.

National champions in each height division will be crowned Sunday afternoon.
