Talons fly over the Storm 69-58.

TULSA, OK–In the first true professional football game played since the departure of the Oklahoma Outlaws in 1984 the Tulsa Talons continues their impressive string of wins in the amazing BOK Center by defeating the Tampa Bay Storm 69-58.

The first touchdown of the 2010 campaign was scored by the Talons on a
touchdown pass from Justin Allgood to Carlese Franklin, with the Storm answering quickly
with a pass from QB Brent Dietz to Hank Edwards.

It was a typical back-and-forth ball game in the first half with the score at halftime 35-30 Talons.

The Talons capitalized on two Tampa fumbles in the second half to seize control of the game.  The Storm got as close as 8 points but once the Talons have control of a game, historically they don’t let it slip away.  In the end Allgood threw 26 of 36 with 8 touchdowns and thus the Talons began their new era in arena football with a solid 11 point victory.
