Coach Blankenship radio show deputs Monday

The Bill Blankenship Radio Call-in Show has a new home this year as the hour-long program will air from Gusano’s Restaurant at 101st and Mingo. The first radio show for the Tulsa head coach takes place this Monday, August 27, from 7-8 pm. The show is aired on the flagship of TU Golden Hurricane football, News Talk 740 AM/FM 102.3 KRMG Radio.

Fans are encouraged to join the Golden Hurricane head coach and host Bruce Howard at the restaurant for dinner and TU football. If fans can’t make it to the restaurant, be sure to listen on 740 AM or FM 102.3 and call-in a question to Coach Blankenship at 460-5764.

Blankenship will review preseason camp and preview Tulsa’s season opener at Iowa State coming up next Saturday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 pm.
Tulsa football can be heard on News Talk 740 AM/FM 102.3 KRMG Radio throughout the season. The station airs all Tulsa football games and radio call-in shows. The Golden Hurricane Radio Network also includes: FM 104.9 KRIG (Bartlesville), AM 1600 KUSH (Cushing), AM 1390 KCRC (Enid), AM 1240 KOKL (Okmulgee), AM 1400 KTMC (McAlester), AM 1470 KGND (Vinita) and FM 96.1 KITO (Vinita).

Fans can also listen to the radio show and games on the web at the official site of TU athletics, www.tulsahurricane.com. The radio show will air on Monday’s throughout the football season.

The home season for the Golden Hurricane begins on Sept. 8 as Conference USA action kicks off against the Tulane Green Wave at 11:00 am.
