The University of Tulsa is sponsoring the “Street Party on 11th” to kick off its first home football pre-game event, which begins Saturday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.

Drivers are advised that Eleventh Street between Gary Avenue and Florence Avenue will be closed from 3 p.m. to midnight on the day of the event.  The Tulsa Police Department is urging drivers not coming to watch or participate in the event to avoid the area, if possible.

“No parking during events” signage will be enforced within the adjacent neighborhood for the traffic detour.  Illegally parked vehicles will be subject to towing and fines.
