Run, Ride, Rock and Roll
Saturday, May 17, 2014 marks the 27th annual Full Moon 5k Run/Walk and 1‐mile family fun run. The Full Moon Run is hosted by the Full Moon Café and will again benefit River Parks Authority. Net proceeds from the event are contributed toward operations and capital improvements at River Parks. The Full Moon Run has
contributed a cumulative donation of more than $80,000 over the past decade. Proceeds from this year’s event will help maintain Park elements and amenities.
Deadline nears for controlled hunt drawing
Hunters have until Thursday May 15, 2014, to apply for the Wildlife Department’s controlled hunting opportunities for 2014-15. All applications must be submitted at wildlifedepartment.com.
The Controlled Hunts Program offers a variety of highly desirable hunts through random drawings. Controlled hunting opportunities offered through this program include hunts on Department- or government-owned or managed lands where unrestricted hunting would pose safety concerns or where overharvest might occur.

Guthrie Green offers “Savor the Sounds”
This Saturday, May 10, 2014 Guthrie Green in conjunction with the George Kaiser Family Foundation will kick off the first annual “Savor the Sounds” free event in the Brady Arts District combining entertainment, local business, and local arts and music organizations for a night of food and entertainment.
