What core of Trump?

TulRepubLogo1Editorial: The presidential preference primaries and caucuses are not elections, but selections. This is a distinctive difference as there is no Republican or Democrat Candidate for U.S. President until after the respective conventions hold an official vote. The objective is to find a candidate that can unify each party to win the national election. In both, established grassroots loyalists attend in vast majority at their own expense and vote their conscience.

This writer is not a member of an organized political party; I’m an Oklahoma Republican – a member of a voluntary organization supported exclusively by voluntary donations in which none of the last convention’s elected leadership currently serves. We will convene again this Saturday.

That said, what is the core of Donald J. Trump? What principles can any voter take as Trump’s foundational and operational beliefs? It’s not the grassroots job to unify till Trump specifies in detail what the flying frack (1) he truly expects unity on beyond acceptance of his unique personality.

Better a poor patient in U.S. than rich in Socialism

HealthcareAlertAnalysis: “What about the poor?” is inevitably asked of people who promote free enterprise in medicine. Good question. Let’s look at actual results, not sentiment or good intentions.

In the U.S., Medicaid is generally the means for payment for medical services for the poor. The services are, however, the same regardless of the payment method (Medicaid or private). In socialized systems, the payment method is the same for rich and poor, and service is provided by government-salaried workers. As is typical of socialism, more money does not buy you more or better services, but political influence often does.

How you say it

TulBlogsOpinion: How you say something can be as important or even more important that what you say. Tone, inflection, and verbiage can carry the day or cost you everything. Here in the United States, we have been in the midst of some heated political races for quite some time. While an explosive exchange or vindictive response might grab immediate headlines, oftentimes, they can cost you respect and cooperation you may need to reach your goal.

My late, great friend and mentor Coach John Wooden told me that when he was only five or six years old, he and his older brother were cleaning out the barn on their family farm.  His brother teased him as older brothers will often do to younger brothers, and the young Coach Wooden responded with profanity he had heard but wasn’t even sure what it meant just as his father walked into the barn.  Coach Wooden told me that his father responded with love and respect asking both of the boys to promise to never use bad language again.

FBI honor on political firing line

FBI Director James Comey

FBI Director James Comey

Analysis: Its a historical first for America as a presidential candidate runs while under active investigation by the FBI, but then Hillary Clinton (and Bill) always lie to accumulate power, accommodate evil and leverage position to gain wealth. It is what they do. Ask Juanita Broaddrick for detail.

The growing conflict and new part of the story featured today on The Hill is that James Comey, Director of the FBI, cherishes the honor of his agency and its agents above all political considerations and this may become a problem for the White House. Surprise.

OK perspectives on president

Class Warfare: Workers vs. Looters by Dan Mitchell

Class Warfare: Workers vs. Looters by Dan Mitchell

Editorial: Oklahomans vote Tuesday for president. Call it Super Tuesday, the Dixie Primary or the Big-12 (11 states and one territory), this primary referendum will decide momentum and willow choices for both major political parties in America. Every vote counts.

All 77 Oklahoma Counties in the last two national elections voted against President Barack Obama; but that perspective came from attentive listening, independent consideration and a populist heart rather than Republican Party leadership. None of the Republican Party leaders elected at the 2015 State Party Convention currently serve in office. The chairman resigned after five months. One contestant for chairman moved to Texas and nonpartisan activists illegally manipulated the chairman race to replace.
