Analysis: The positive story in the Tulsa World Saturday on the state of the Democrat Party in Oklahoma ended with a quote from Executive Director Trav Robertson.
“Oklahoma has 22 different ecological zones,” he told writer Randy Krehbiel. “I think there are just as many types of Democrats.”
This is what you could call spin.
Admitting the November 2014 elections were “bad” for Democrats, an understatement at best, Robertson is quoted noting “some things we did correctly.”
Mr. President, following in the traditions of the Senate, I come to the floor to speak about my experience in the Senate. Unfortunately, this will not be the last time I speak, much to the chagrin of many of you, as I have some adamant opposition to some of the things we are doing.
But I nevertheless will try to put in context some of my feelings and thoughts about the great privilege that has been granted to me by the people of Oklahoma. We hear a lot of speeches in this place. As Members who are elected, it gets reflected on us, but nothing could be further from the truth. Because the things that really make this place operate are the people who work with us, the people who support us, the people who help guide us, the people behind the scenes who are both brilliant and committed and dedicated to the founding principles of this country.
Analysis: Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Tuesday rejected Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber’s claim that he made disparaging remarks about the intelligence of American voters in order to make himself look smarter.
Obviously another lie to cover a lie from the arrogant M.I.T. professor who, apparently, does not know truthfulness – it’s just not in him.
Voters were not the ones that approved Obamacare – ever. It was Congress that never read the law and the Democrat Party that controlled Congress. Without one Republican vote, Democrats passed this Marxist monstrosity now destroying the economy – costing millions of jobs – driving medical workers to other fields while killing babies and old people for “the greater good of the collective.”
Never has America been so disrespected worldwide. Anyone with a clue can see President Obama as a jester of narcissism obsessed with a false ideology too lazy to learn truth or act on it. Thus failing history; Obama must find others to blame while distracting attention to pointless contrived crisis.
Illustrating several pressing problems, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), Monday released statements on President Obama’s continuing failure in negotiations with Iran on nuclear enrichment and the scapegoating of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel. We add a few other issues Tulsa Today readers will recognize from Ferguson to Immigration as gist for family discussion over the Thanksgiving Holiday. First Sen. Inhofe:
“As I expected and predicted, there is no deal on the Iranian nuclear program. Thanks to the President’s foreign policy of appeasement, his systematic dismantling of the American armed forces, and the lack of a coherent strategy for the Middle East, Iran is negotiating from a position of strength.
Analysis: If a commercial transaction is won by misrepresentation it is fraud. If those elected pass law in the same way, it cannot, by any right, hold as law. It is fraud. It is evil. It is the old fantasy that a group of self-aggrandizing pricks can lie, cheat, steal and abusively rule over others better than free people can rule themselves.
Thus we come to GruberGate, were Jonathan Gruber demonstrates the brilliance of American Voters by calling them stupid. Americans do not support policy bad for themselves which is why President Obama, Democrats and founts of hubris like Gruber must lie thus proving the opposite of his words. If they told the truth, they would be rejected with all their nasty plans.
