Oklahoma’s Toby Keith performed at Tulsa’s BOK Center Friday, October 14, 2016. It was his first time to perform at the BOK in Tulsa and many enjoyed the show. Unfortunately, the tour only provided a photographer’s pass so Tulsa Today is unable to provide a review.  We do have some excellent photos from Greg Duke and those we gladly share with fans.

We appreciate Toby Keith for his great talents and local charity work, but ask why he would promote a sales tax increase to the second highest level in the nation? This directly harms poor Oklahomans struggling to survive. It doesn’t seem to fit Keith’s country image.

Mullet Over #689

dogrexWow. Talk about true love. The publication Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience has stated that behavior analyses involving pet dogs indicate that most canines prefer owner praise to food.

There is now a refrigerator on the market that has wi-fi and a camera inside so that people with certain cell phones can dial up and see what foodstuffs may be needed for resupply. The camera can also show who is getting into the fridge while you are not at home.

For you Sound of Music movie fans (I am one), it saddens me to report that Charmian Carr (Leisl in the movie) recently passed away at the age of 73.

Terry Johnson recently caught this 9.62 pound bass at Sardis Lake.

As fall approaches the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation provides the latest I fishing reports in this report, but for those preparing to store their boat for winter, the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) offers a free guide online to prevent costly mistakes.

For example; water mistakenly left in a boat’s engine block to freeze over the winter is sure to become an expensive repair come springtime. As the ice expands it can crack the block, ruin the motor, damage fiberglass, split hoses, or destroy a boat’s refrigeration system. To prevent a mishap while putting the boat away this fall, Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS), offers the free 15-page guide.
