The Temptations & The Four Tops will serenade fans with their soulful sounds Thursday, October 26 at Cox Business Convention Center’s Tulsa Ballroom. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 21 at 10AM and will be available online at coxcentertulsa.com.

The Temptations, often referred to as American Music Royalty, are world-renowned superstars of entertainment, revered for their phenomenal catalog of music and prolific career. The group celebrated their 60^th Anniversary throughout 2022. To mark this milestone, The Temptations released a brand-new album, Temptations 60, with nearly all-original songs in January of 2022 and, toured in the U.S, as well as abroad to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, in fall of 2022.  Dr. Otis Williams, the sole surviving, original member of The Temptations, turned 81 on October 30 of 2022.

The Born & Raised Music Festival has been described as “a weekend of music and camping for the outlaw in all of us.” Presented by Patriot Auto Group, the Festival announced the 2023 lineup today and the expansion to 3 full days of music for its third annual experience.

Grammy-award honoree, Songwriters Hall of Fame member, and BBC Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Don McLean remembers Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J.P. Richardson – “The Big Bopper” – and the pilot, Roger Peterson on the anniversary of the deadly plane crash just after their concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. The fateful day was coined ‘The Day The Music Died’ by Don McLean in his hit “American Pie.” The song was released in 1971 and spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1972. In 2001, thirty years later, the Recording Industry of America named it the fifth greatest song of the 20th century.

The Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, Texas, has been home to the National Reining Breeders Classic for more than two decades. In the
past 22 years, the open-air design and sheer beauty of the GSEC, combined with the multiple schooling areas and large competition arenas, helped make the NRBC the can’t-miss event it is today, drawing thousands of participants from around the world.

The growth trend has always had an upwards trajectory, and because of that, the 2022 NRBC was bursting at the seams. The increased number of entries is precisely the reason that the NRBC Board of Directors made the difficult decision to move the event to Expo Square in Tulsa, Okla., beginning next year. The 2023 event will maintain its springtime date and will be held April 16-23.

The GRAMMY® Award-winning, Country Music Hall of Fame and Gospel Music Hall of Fame members released their ‘Light’ album 50 years ago, paving the way for what would soon become an historic transition into country music and to heights The Oak Ridge Boys had only dreamed of.

“That album was the apex of The Oak Ridge Boys’ career in Gospel music,” said Oak Ridge Boys member Duane Allen.
