The Lotspeich Family in northwestern Oklahoma has received the 2026 Landowner Conservationist of the Year honor from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
The main Lotspeich Ranch is 10,000 acres of native grass, forbs and shrubs in northern Harper County. An additional 3,950 acres of farm ground, of which 750 acres are irrigated, are in Beaver County.

The United States has always acted decisively to defend U.S. sovereignty and U.S. citizens against the threat of the International Criminal Court (ICC). To date, the United States has imposed sanctions on 17 persons pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 14203 “Imposing Sanctions on the International Criminal Court.” Friday, at President Trump’s direction, Department of State announced additional actions to defend U.S. sovereignty and neutralize the threat posed by the ICC.
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced Friday the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for eligible private nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma impacted by the severe storm and straight-line winds occurring July 4. The eligible Counties include; Cleveland, Nowata, Osage, and Washington.
According to the U.S. State Department, Office of the Spokesman, political reconciliation talks between the interim Venezuelan government and 2015 National Assembly representatives are producing tangible reforms in civil liberties and political rights, laying the groundwork for credible elections and a democratic transition. Two rounds of talks have already taken place, producing significant results: a wholesale reform and reconstruction of an independent Venezuelan Supreme Court, the restoration of access to more than 70 previously blocked internet domains, and the reform of a key repressive law. The interim government has also released more than 1,000 political prisoners and announced the release of nearly 200 more.
