Legacy of Senator Jim Inhofe Honored

The Senate and House passed a bill introduced by Senator James Lankford (R-OK), Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), and Representative Kevin Hern (R-OK) to name the new Veterans Health Administration (VA) 75,000-square-foot, 58-bed medical-surgical hospital in Tulsa the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center in honor of the life and legacy of the late-Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe, who tirelessly served our military, veterans, and their families for his entire public service career. The release issued today by Lankford’s office, detailed help to ensure the hospital received funding to commence construction in 2020 and to ensure the skyrocketing Biden/Harris inflation of the last three years did not interrupt the construction schedule with additional unforeseen costs. This legislation was supported by the entire Oklahoma congressional delegation and now heads to the President’s desk to be signed into law.

Dr. Jay Bhattachrya for NIH Praised

Today, the Organization for Competitive Markets, and Competitive Markets Action, released the following statement in response to President Donald J. Trump and future HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s selection of Dr. Jay Bhattacharya as head of the National Institutes of Health:

“We applaud President Trump and future Secretary Kennedy’s courageous and decisive move to Make America Healthy Again with the nomination of Dr. Bhattacharya as head of NIH and believe his confirmation will uncover the truth behind COVID, Dr. Fauci, and the Chinese enemies who created the pandemic intended to oust President Trump from office in 2020,” said Marty Irby, president at Competitive Markets Action and secretary at the Organization for Competitive Markets.

Doug Burgum to Interior & Energy Council

A statement today by former-and-future-President Donald J. “This Council will oversee the path to U.S. ENERGY DOMINANCE by cutting red tape, enhancing private sector investments across all sectors of the Economy, and by focusing on INNOVATION over longstanding, but totally unnecessary, regulation. Vote Trump to Protect Indian Country

Analysis: Indian Country, just like the rest of America, has a choice to make in this election cycle. 

One party wants to roll back excess regulation, shrink the administrative state, and promote personal agency and individual responsibility; the other side wants big government to dictate nearly every aspect of American life — from the car you can drive to how you can use your own land. 

In my view, as a member of the Cherokee Nation, our Native values of tribal sovereignty and self-determination are best aligned with President Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party.
