Tulsa GOP Convention Report

Analysis: Part revival and rebellion, the February 2021 Tulsa County Republican Convention was a proud gathering of patriots. The crowd was greater than expected with officials claiming 500 in attendance. I filed for the office of Chairman of the Tulsa County Party to speak to the group on the need for Republicans to communicate better regularly on issues of both policy and party. The greatest blessing gathered was the opportunity to talk with people I did not previously know as well as lifelong friends.

A young couple attending their first convention listened politely as we began to chat, but quickly locked eyes to ask, “All we want to know is how do you view the last presidential election?” No political correctness allowed.

Federal control of State finances?

OK Attorney General Mike Hunter

Attorney General Mike Hunter Tuesday sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen asking her to clarify whether the last-minute provision added to the latest coronavirus stimulus package strips state legislatures of their authority to provide further economic relief to their citizens by reducing state tax rates, or risk paying back federal aid.

The letter, signed by 21 attorneys general, says if the intent was to deny states the ability to cut taxes in any manner whatsoever, the act would likely constitute the greatest attempted invasion of state sovereignty by Congress in the history of the Republic.

Covid-19: CDC vs. Common Sense

The death of Common Sense begins with words initiated by the morass of bureaucracy couched in safety and security. Indeed, and according to former-President Ronald Reagan, the most frightening words to hear in the English language are, ‘We’re here from the government and we’re here to help!’ The underpinnings of such beginnings appear benign and with benign neglect the malignancy storms through, metastasizing arboreally through the veins of the entire system. The world is seeing such a death these days.

Paycom intimidates Oklahoma University

In a March 3, 2020 letter to the University of Oklahoma’s board of regents, Paycom CEO Chad Richison wrote that the university’s “previous diversity training efforts failed because they assured free speech protection.” He announced Paycom was yanking advertising from the school and called for OU to “put inclusion and diversity at the core for all Oklahomans, including the state’s flagship institution.”

Since then OU has mandated new—and controversial—“Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” training for all students and staff at the University of Oklahoma.

If any still doubt the insanity of unscientific government actions, consider that while millions of Americans remain under restrictions and quarantine; foreign nationals testing positive for the Chinese coronavirus are traveling freely into the United States interior.

Breitbart.com and NBC confirmed that “President Joe Biden’s administration continues releasing thousands of border crossers into the U.S. interior after restarting the Catch and Release program, a report by NBC News confirmed that at over 100 border crossers released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have tested positive for the coronavirus.
