Historic Shifting of the Art of War

Right before our eyes over the last several weeks, we’ve seen a strategic and historic shift in the art of war.  The Ukrainian military snuck multiple armed drones into Russia and wiped out 30% of Russia’s bomber fleet.  Iran’s air defenses were wiped out after the Israelis snuck hundreds of drones equipped with bombs into enemy territory.

At the same time, we recently learned that FBI officials believe the Chinese Communist Party owns land in all 77 Oklahoma counties.  Proximity to military bases obviously creates the opportunity for surprise, unmanned, and successful attacks, and Oklahoma is home to several military bases and installations in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Enid, Altus, and Lawton.

Further, those with the most spending power are the most likely to use it as leverage: 43% of six-figure earners have boycotted and 37% have reverse-boycotted, the study showed.

The Green Mirage: OK Signs Up

Why Oklahoma Should Reject CO2 Sequestration

Dr. Jordan Peterson’s words cut through the climate hysteria with a truth that resonates in Oklahoma’s heartland: CO2 isn’t the villain it’s made out to be.

“If there’s more carbon dioxide the plants can close their breathing pores more and they don’t lose water and so not only is there 20 percent more vegetation, which is a lot. I think it’s twice the area of the United States that’s greened. That’s a lot of green. And where our agricultural production is more effective. And the places that have greened were the very places that the deserts were supposed to expand into. And so, right, because they’ve greened, they’ve shrunk, not grown,” he said — Dr. Jordan Peterson on the Joe Rogan Podcast (1:11:01 through 1:14:30)

In a state that powers America with oil, gas, and wind, the federal government’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 is a bloated overreach, funneling billions into green energy and carbon dioxide (CO2) capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS). This subsidy-soaked scheme clashes with Oklahoma’s free-market ethos, squandering taxpayer dollars on CO2 sequestration, a costly dead end that ignores the natural benefits of CO2 in greening the planet and boosting agriculture. Conservatives across the Sooner State are demanding an end to federal meddling and a return to innovation-driven prosperity.

Screen Use Linked to Teen Suicide

A recent study by researchers at Cornell, Columbia, and University of California- Berkeley links addictive screen use by adolescents to an increase in suicidal behaviors. The study followed 4,285 U.S. adolescents over a four-year period, and the results imply overwhelmingly that the key element driving risk of suicidal behavior is not total time but rather addictive use of social media, mobile phones, and video games.

This is the first study to identify that addictive use is important, and is actually the root cause, instead of time,” said lead author Yunyu Xiao, assistant professor of psychiatry and population health sciences at Weill Cornell Medical College.
