President Donald J. Trump on Monday in Jerusalem speaking to the Knesset hailed a “new beginning” for the Middle East as Hamas released all 20 living Israeli hostages from captivity in Gaza. Both Palestinians and Israelis danced in the streets in celebration. It appears, the two year Gaza war is over and true lasting peace possible for the first time in a thousand years.

Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m., the quiet rhythm of Tulsa International Airport transformed into a patriotic symphony. Crowds of all ages — young, old, and elderly — gathered draped in red, white, and blue. Some waved small American flags. Others clutched handmade signs or proudly carried full-size flags on six-foot poles.

President Trump announced Wednesday evening that both Israel and Hamas have “signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,” and all hostages will be released “very soon.”
According to The Times of Israel, a peace deal could be signed as early as today. “Sources in ‘the Palestinian resistance’ tell the Hezbollah-affiliated outlet al-Mayadeen that Hamas has agreed to a Gaza ceasefire deal, adding that it will be signed Thursday in Egypt,” the outlet reported on Wednesday.

State Treasurer Todd Russ announced this week Oklahoma’s September tax revenue totaled $1.5 billion, an increase of 17.8% over August and 0.4% higher than September 2024. Over the past 12 months, total receipts reached $16.95 billion, virtually unchanged from the prior year but steady amid national headwinds.
“This month’s report shows encouraging momentum with revenues rebounding nearly 18% from August and posting year-over-year growth,” said Treasurer Russ. “Strong income and energy tax revenue continue to anchor Oklahoma’s economy, even as sales activity softens. With steady employment and a balanced fiscal approach, our state remains well-positioned to navigate national uncertainty.”

Most Americans want Democrats to end their disastrous government shutdown, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll. The survey was conducted online within the United States October 1-2, among 2,413 registered voters.
It comes as service members and federal employees are set to miss their next paycheck, critical food assistance for low-income women and children is in dire jeopardy, states are staring down an economic catastrophe, and layoffs could be imminent — all because of Democrats’ sick push to give illegal aliens free health care. Republicans have a “clean” (no strings attached) proposal on the table.
