Tulsa GOP debate and candidate greet tonight

TulRepubLogo1The Republican Party of Tulsa County is holding a “Presidential Debate Watch Party”  Monday, September 26th to watch the first of three scheduled debates between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In addition, a “Meet the Candidates Night” will be held prior to the debate, giving local voters, Party activists and media an opportunity to meet with several of the GOP’s local candidates to ask questions and discuss issues.

Update: A warrant was issued Thursday for the arrest of Officer Betty Shelby, the Tulsa police officer who fatally shot Terence Crutcher Sept. 16.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler announced a first-degree manslaughter charge against Shelby at a Thursday afternoon news conference.

As fall approaches the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation provides the latest I fishing reports in this report, but for those preparing to store their boat for winter, the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) offers a free guide online to prevent costly mistakes.

For example; water mistakenly left in a boat’s engine block to freeze over the winter is sure to become an expensive repair come springtime. As the ice expands it can crack the block, ruin the motor, damage fiberglass, split hoses, or destroy a boat’s refrigeration system. Hundreds of illegal immigrants from terrorist hotbeds who were supposed to have been deported were instead granted citizenship because U.S. Homeland Security didn’t have fingerprints to check their identity, the department’s inspector general said in a stunning report released today and featured on The Washington Times.

At least two of these new citizens are being investigated by the FBI for links to terrorism, investigators told The Times, but no confirmed report of their participation in Hillary Clinton’s campaign events has surfaced as of this post.

Hillary’s Healthcare Reform: Basket of Deplorables

deplorables1In her recent interview on Israel Channel 2, Democrat Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton said “I would say you can take Trump supporters and put them in two baskets–there are what I call the Deplorables, the racists, the haters…”

In calling millions of Americans “deplorable,” Hillary set off a firestorm of controversy and protest on social media.

Physicians serve patients to focus on healing, not ripping people apart causing more pain. Thus, from a medical perspective, it is abhorrent when a Presidential candidate resorts to such divisive and demeaning tactics, smearing hard working Americans who are simply expressing their Constitutional rights with differing opinions about our country’s major economic and social issues.
